STUDY: GOVERNMENT AGENCY
BTA is the prime provider of roof assessment, financial planning and
analysis, and roof construction management for a large governmental agency
of the U.S., which has numerous installations comprised of multiple facilities
throughout the country. Though the project began in 2004 with only three
of the installations, three additional sites were added to the multi-year
program in 2005.
BTA has used its OASYS™ system to determine proactive “optimal repair”
strategies that will prolong the service life of the agency’s roof inventory.
Through careful planning and execution of these repairs, BTA was able
to add nearly $8 million dollars in asset value to the roof portfolio
for this agency over the past three years. The value added ($K) to each
site’s portfolio, for each year, is summarized in the graph below.
